• All Ultimate sails dinghy covers are designed and made to order in the UK with a lead time of approx 2 weeks. *Update, from May 2021 until further notice lead time for covers will be approx 3 weeks.
   
• We use waxed thread and specialised needles to create a more solid waterproof seam
   
• Don't worry if your boat isn't listed, custom covers can be priced and built from a simple measuring sheet for a perfect fit.
   
• All covers are posted in recyclable cardboard boxes.

There are two material options:

• Double coated PVC (weight 650gsm approx. 15oz) which is ideal for most fibre glass dinghies. The PVC is very durable and has a higher tear strength than most standard Dinghy cover PVC’s. It has a smooth wipe clean finish that will give many years of service to your boat. Colour is blue.
   
• Breathable Polycotton (weight 460gsm approx. 10.5oz) which is recommended for wooden boats or where sails and other gear are stored inside the boat. It's not as colourfast as the PVC option but it maintains its strength and has unique breathable characteristics that protect your sailing dinghy better than any other material. The cotton fibres in the material swell when they become wet, making the fabric more waterproof. Conversely, as it dries, the fibres shrink allowing moisture to evaporate away from the boat. Colour is blue.

All covers include:

• Transom tie down straps at the base of the cover
• Mast to bow openings with Velcro and securing buckles
• Mast up covers have shroud openings reinforced and secured with Velcro
• Straps are made from soft webbings to protect the hull and include snap fastenings.
